Sheikh Youssef Hassan, distinguished as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Australian Multicultural Islamic Centre, carries a rich cultural and educational background. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Sheikh Youssef has pursued religious studies, specializing in Sharia law, at the esteemed Sharia Association Foundation in his home country. In 2004, he embarked on a journey to Australia where his expertise in dawah—spreading the word of Islam—has flourished for over two decades. His dedication to teaching and guiding the community extends to his role as an educator within Australia. Additionally, Sheikh Youssef serves with honor as an Imam at one of Sydney's prominent mosques. His leadership position as the Treasurer for the Australian National Imams Council further exemplifies his commitment to the Islamic community. Beyond his religious duties, he is also acclaimed as the Director of Claude TV, showcasing his versatile contributions to both, the spiritual and social spheres of Australian society.
